a little french electronic in the speakers never hurt anyone

A tour through the glorious American mid-west is in the works - get excited - we are. If you know of places in or en route to the following cities, we'd love to hook up with friends, friends of friends, and/or generous friendly strangers: Seattle, Boise, Salt Lake City, Denver, Kansas City, Columbia, St. Louis, Chicago, Madison, Fargo, Billings, Spokane.

I spent this weekend shopping with a friend, and, of course, picking up a few things for my self along the way. And then it seems I spent the other half of the weekend devouring half of a chocolate cake (yum).

Latest music-related musings:
1. Guitar slapping (I think its called): not so easy.
2. This rehearsal space is sound-proof...(if you put on noise-canceling headphones.
3. French is sexy ("Le vent nous portera" by Noir Desir).
4. I need an electric guitar.
5. How am I supposed to be a rockstar if I go to bed at 8:30 every night?

Last 5 songs I've listened to:
1. "No Need to Worry" by Yeasayer
2. "Sunrise" by Yeasayer
3. "Le Vent Nous Portera" by Noir Desir
4. "Distress and Calling" by Swayzak
5. " Lava Lava" by Boys Noize
(yeah French electronic)

That's all for now. Next show is April 16 at Rendezvous/Jewelbox Theatre with Molly McCue. Sharpie it in everyone, its worth the early commitment.

I've been unearthing some new ideas this winter, but don't expect my hibernation to last much longer. I'm busting at the seems with a nebulous evolving sound. There's something both sudden and slow-moving about it. You will soon have the chance to lend an ear to some of the new material. In the upcoming months, I'm working on booking a full load, including some trips into Vancouver BC and Portland OR.

I'm also working up to a West Coast tour in the summer months. Therefore, now is a good time to get anyone you know up and down the west coast hooked.

Stay tuned to MySpace and the site for updated lists of shows.

Eden's latest:
1. Soy Milk: I decided I ought to try to it since I'm jumping huge hurdles these days when it comes to fears. I will never concede to goat cheese though.
2. Yellow Cars: For the first time in my life, I saw a yellow suburban blocking the horizon and thought, "Huh, I could get a yellow car someday."
3. Piano: HELL-LLO piano. I feel like I'm in love. I'll blink my eyes on the drive home and have a moment of envisioning myself at a grand piano playing away. Open my eyes with this dopey smile, and then realize i have a buzzing keyboard which faces an orange wall in our basement. Then I go back to picking my nose because people can't see you do that through your car windows.
4. Burial, St. Vincent, PJ Harvey: Look em up.
5. Henning Mankell mysteries: I looked online the other day to see how many books he's written. I think it's like 13....I only found two or three I hadn't read. You do the math. I'm finally a book worm.
